This place has great food with excellent service for an event. We went here after work and despite being here on a busy Friday night, the staff was very accommodating for our large party. We were in the private room in the back. I had the salmon, which was tender. The hummus and baked eggplant dip were perfect while waiting for dinner. Overall, we had an A+ experience. Will be coming back soon!

We had a retirement party for our co-worker here. It was a great venue to host a party. The owner Ali was very helpful in accommodating our requests & budget. He reserved a whole room for just our party of about 40 people (but can hold up to 60 people). The room was ready when requested. They also put the appetizers out so that guests could enjoy them with drinks, while waiting for all the guests to arrive. We had planned to serve the main meal at 6:00pm, but since only 1/2 the guests were present around 5:45pm, they recommended to delay serving the main meal about 15 minutes so the food would be hot & fresh when the rest of the guests would arrive. We chose to serve the food family style instead of buffet style so guests would not have to wait in a long line. The food was delicious & the staff were friendly & helpful. They even let us sing a karaoke song to the guest of honor even though we were kind of loud. Everyone had a great time! The strip mall itself looks just ok on the outside, but the inside of the restaurant is very nice. Very small parking lot, but there is a lot of street parking.

We've been going to Ali Baba in Granada Hills, well, since about 2 weeks after they have opened. In all those year, we've never had a bad meal: overflowing plates, hospitality, and wonderful food (we particularly like Tadig with Fessenjan, which I'm probably misspelling). But tonight was special: We do a Brotherhood Seder with Mens Themes as a joint project between our Reform synagogue in Northridge and Temple Beth Hllell in Valley Village. We asked Ali to cater, and he did a spectacular job: He worked within our budget, and came up with a meal that delighted all of our attendees. So not only is the restaurant a great place to go for a meal, but they also do a wonderful job with catering. We look forward to our next visit, and hopefully we encouraged others to discover Ali Baba tonight.

The chicken breast kabob, the beef Lula, the filet mignon was so juicy tender and very tasty! Perfectly seasoned. The rice was good and has generous portions. Excellent service esp when we celebrated our coworkers retirement party there. They were so accommodating, very kind and gracious to us.

Where would you go for the best Mediterranean food in the valley? Yelp didn't lead me here, but a friend did and it was wonderful! In a small corner strip mall with limited parking, but plenty of street availability, sits this cute (I believe family owned) restaurant. It was much bigger than I expected, yet for a mid week visit, the main dining area was all that was being used. The food was fresh and flavorful. Portions were more than enough to share. In our case, we both had left overs. Well priced for the amount of food. Grateful to be introduced to this spot!

I recently had Persian food on a trip and loved it so I wanted to find a restaurant near me that had food that was just as good as what I had on my trip I found Ali baba online and the reviews looked promising so I did a take out order. Everything was well packed, my order was ready when I got there. Inside is really cute I will go back and dine in sometime. I ordered early and there are a couple of tables with people at them- a good sign Inside the restaurant smelled delicious and the woman at the desk was nice I will definitely return . Everything was fresh and delicious in plentiful portions.

I've gotten take out here a few times with my significant other's mom for catering big parties but this was the first time I ate here at the restaurant with her and my mama. Food was great, chicken was moist. It didn't feel greasy at all. The portions are huge. We all had to get to go boxes for leftovers for lunch the next day. Service was nice and attentive. As for the ambiance, there were so many people eating here. As well as so many people picking up to go orders on a Saturday night. They also give you lavash bread and butter to start and you can put sumac on the lavash too. I just forgot to get a photo of that.

I can't believe I have never been here before! I have been missing out. Getting a table was easy for it being a weekend. The service is excellent. We ordered Gormeh Sabzi and Kebab Barg with Zereshk Polo. Also, can't forget the Mast o Khiar. All of it was delicious! I have no complaints here. The Mast o Khiar was some of the better ones I've had going to Persian restaurants. The meat is tender and rice is buttery delicious. Parking is easy. I would for sure come back.
